About MeI began my teaching career in 1989 in Koyuk, Alaska, teaching kindergarten. Koyuk is a community of 225 people, primarily Inupiak Eskimo. In 1991, I moved to Alexandria, Minnesota and taught 5th grade for three years. For the pasts 19 years I have taught grades K-4 in the Hayfield Public School system. This is my 14th year teaching Kindergarten in Hayfield, and I LOVE it! I enjoy teaching, writing, hiking, camping, riding horse and spending time with my friends and family. |
